First of all, I would like to congratulate Scottie Scheffler for winning his 2nd green jacket at the Masters this weekend, the greatest achievement a golfer can imagine. Okay now enough of that let’s get down to business.
I know we were all thinking to ourselves Saturday morning, “Man, I wonder how monsters/villains from the Scooby-Doo Universe would be able to make the cut at this Masters.”
Honestly I don’t think there’s too many. The cut line was settled at 6-over par with about 60 golfers moving on to weekend golf. Augusta is obviously an extremely tough course and 6-over is way way way better than most people probably think. However, I think with the right amount of skill, and a whole lot of luck, a few Scooby-Doo monsters would be able to have themselves a good enough Thursday and Friday to make this cut. Which monsters you ask? Let’s get into it.
- Creeper – 2-Under Par

This one is so freaking obvious because it has already happened before. Conspiracy theorists theorize that Creeper is actually Scottie Scheffler in 60 years. I mean just look at him, they look just alike. Creeper Scheffler is even wearing one of his green jackets. Even though he is 80 years old, I bet he still has something left in the tank from his days of winning the Masters. He could make a push to make the cut to compete against his young self. While he may not have as much power off-the-deck as he used to, he can still get surgical with the irons and chipping game. If all goes right, Creeper Scheffler is going into Saturday 1-under par, easily making this cut.
2.) The Menacing Clown – 3-Under Par

The Menacing Metallic Clown is another absolute lock for the cut. For all the casual Doo fans, The Menacing Metallic Clown actually used to be a part of a mini-golf course, as participants would putt into his wide open mouth in what was a pretty lousy par-3 hole. Despite being a part of the worst mini-golf course of all time, The Menacing Metallic Clown literally lives on the green. A 3-putt is not in this guys vocabulary. He may be the best golfing Scooby-Doo monster to ever do it, no cap. 3-under par and easily making the cut.
3.) Dorsal Foot – 2-Over Par
Okay, I don’t know the rules on using your own hands as golf clubs, but if it’ allowed, Dorsal Foot is using his hammer fins to smack the ball 400 yards off the deck. Obviously this is a huge advantage and would probably make him the best driver in golf. However, these giant fin clubs could come to be a problem in his short game, often giving his shots too much loft and not much variation in club distance as he can only use his fins (no thumbs). He also would be piss-poor in putting as he is too aggressive and would often put too much heat on the ball and putting into the water (he loves water because he is a shark). With all this in mind, I think Dorsal foot can still put up a more than respectable 2-over par score through 2 rounds, and making the cut.
- Bogel – 3-Over Par

I have literally no explanation for this other than my gut is telling me Bogel can do it. A fierce competitor. He simply wants it more. A well-balanced game, no glaring weaknesses. I think he could do it if all goes his way. Bogel is going 3-over and making the cut.
