How the Bills would be in the Super Bowl if AFC Championship was Played in Springfield with the Simpsons

The world is on fire. Not a single soul is happy with the events that took place Sunday, as millions are adamant on the long-lasting theory that the NFL is rigged, and the Kansas City Chiefs are continuously carried by the referees. The most argued example of this theory is when the Buffalo Bills, in a 4th and short, ran a QB sneak (that failed 9000000 times before this) with Josh Allen that was marked short. A call that sparked fury in the nation, as there was inconsistency between the refs in where the ball was down, and questionable replays that may suggest the ball was past the first-down marker. The Bills turned the ball over on downs in what was a colossal, must-score drive to take a late lead. Millions of infuriated fans are saying this play ultimately decided the outcome of the game, and yet another instance of referees handing Kansas City another win.

Just days after the game, discussions are already arising regarding microchipping footballs, so refs are able to tell exactly where the ball is at any time, even if surrounded by a pile of linemen, and unfortunate, unsure outcomes such as this travesty never occur again.

But what if I told you we already had this technology? And that we have already used it with proven (mostly) success on multiple occasions? What if there was a world where we see clearly that Josh Allen had extended the ball past the first down marker, extending the Bills’ drive, and eventually clinching the game and a ticket to the Super Bowl?

Hate to break it to you Chiefs fans, but The Buffalo Bills would have won this game if they were playing with the Simpsons in Springfield as a Funday Football Special.

The Funday Football Game has become my personal Super Bowl the past two years. First, the Jags and Falcons faced off in Andy’s Room as toys, followed by this year’s game of the Bengals vs Cowboys facing off with the Simpsons cast in Springfield. For any that are unfamiliar, Funday Football games use advanced tracking systems on players on the field, as well as the football in play, to make it so the animated version of the game can be as accurate as possible in comparison to watching the real game.

I’ll say it again, ADVANCED TRACKING SYSTEMS ON THE FOOTBALL IN PLAY.

When in Springfield, the ball is placed exactly in correlation with the placement of the ball in the real game. If the Bills and Chiefs were facing off in Springdale, this tush push (in what most likely would have been Homer Simpson reaching for a first down rather than Josh Allen, as he is a proven Bills fan *see phot above*) would have clearly shown where the ball was and could have ultimately changed the entire game for the better. We would not have a referee controversy. The Bills would be celebrating, eating donuts with Lisa Simpson and Ralph Wiggum, after defeating the big bad boss in Patrick Mahomes and his counterpart Homer Simpson.

Should every game for the rest of time be played in Springfield?????

Side Note – In a season 3 episode of The Simpsons titled “Lisa the Greek” – the Simpsons family heavily discusses a Super Bowl matchup of……. BUFFALO VS WASHINGTON.

Is this a sign that the teams would be reversed if these teams had played in Springfield????
